My Experience

I have been an Early Years teacher in and around Bristol for 35 years. For 12 of those years and whilst my own children were growing up, I ran my own small nursery school from my home.

I have a wealth of experience related to child development and I am familiar with teaching children with additional needs as well as English as a second language.

I am neither phased or daunted by the challenges that can be associated with the demands of family life and raising children to become comfortable and confident with who they are! My skills are wholly tuned in to the needs of young (and older) children.

I studied English Literature at University alongside Education.

My Availability

I am predominantly looking to help families on a part time basis-(two days a week) but days are flexible and can include taking children to and collecting from school, on the days I am employed. I hope this will enable parents/carers and children to have a relaxed and positive start to their day and will further allow parents/carers to work purposefully throughout the day, knowing their children are being cared for by someone who is passionate about child welfare and positive child development.

I have a current DBS.
All other duties are open to negotiation.
