Hi I’m Kate!
I am a patient, kind, caring and hard working person. I absolutely love working with babies and toddlers, it’s a hugely rewarding job and I feel so lucky to watch all these little people develop and grow! I have 6 years experience in childcare, with children/babies of all different ages and I’ve completed a Ofstead approved paediatric first aid course. I have also completed a level 4 in postnatal and infant care, maternity nurse course with Little ones London.
As of January 2023 I have completed the birth bliss accredited doula course, for pregnancy, birth and postnatal care. I’ll be starting to offer postnatal help from January 2024!
My Experience
I have 5 years childcare experience. My main and current role is nannying for a family with a little girl, I started with the family when she was 10 months old and she is now currently 3 1/2 years old, this role has covered lots of developmental stages including, weaning, different sleep stages, walking, talking, potty training and even starting to write!
I have also recently gained more experience with babies. I have been looking after a 5 month old and a 4 month old part time.
I’ve also worked for a family of 3 children which I had sole charge of often and have also travelled alone with the children. My duties included preparing meals, school runs, entertaining during the holidays and light housework.
I also did some short term nannying during the pandemic, for families that couldn’t access nursery’s. This gave me more and very valuable experience with babies and toddlers with duties including morning/bedtime routines, as well as stimulating play.
My Qualifications
Current part time role with two babies from different family’s, one being 5 months old and the 2nd is 4 months old. Newborn stages, routines and feeding knowledge.
Also a current role - nannying a little girl aged 3 1/2 since she was 10 months old.
I have worked for a family looking after two children aged 2 and 4.
I have looked after an 8 month old baby part time during the week.
Full time nanny for 3 children aged 10, 12 and 13 - sole charge, preparing meals, entertaining during holidays, school runs, help with homework and general care.
Have been a part time nanny for a 3 year old boy, where I was responsible for him during the day and in the evenings, cooking simple meals and doing the bed time routine.
I have also been an after school nanny for a girl of 8, where I prepared dinner, helped with homework, took to after school clubs and supervised play dates.
