I work for a well known children’s charity as a disability support worker. I have a background in social work and studied this at university so I am well versed in child protection law and policies. I am creative in the way that I look after children and young people and love thinking outside the box for activities. I have 10 years experience working with individuals with additional support needs and I am confident working with children and young people with autism and learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
My Qualifications
I have a BA in Applied Social Studies (3 years of social work). I also have an SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care and SSSC open badges in Positive Behaviour Support.
My Availability
I have a full time job and work 8-3.30 Monday to Friday and I am available outwith these hours.
