About Me
Hello, I'm Kira!
I'm a 30 year old, enthusiastic, creative and kind individual open for babysitting on evenings and weekends. I have worked with children ages 6 months - 12 years in early years and nannying positions over the past 13 years. In nurseries I worked my way up from apprentice, to nursery practitioner and room leader and onto a Nursery Manager of 4.5 years which I absolutely loved doing. I am currently in full time employment but can offer my help for a family looking for a babysitter, pet sitter or house sitter. I have a full UK driving license so I'm happy to commute. I am a very creative person, I love music, art and I play the drums and ukulele. I'm also a lover of the great outdoors and my favourite season is Autumn! I'm very comfortable with animals, I have a Pug named Meg and a lizard named Henry who I love very much! I would be delighted to hear from you so please pop me a message!
My Experience
I have been around children all my life, looking after siblings and family members and I have been working professionally with children for 13 years. I now have experience of managing 2 nurseries. I am a confident communicator and have built fantastic relationships with the children and families at the Nursery settings. I have undergone so much relevant training such as first aid, send, understanding autism, behaviour management, risk assessments, safeguarding and I have been the Designated Safeguarding Lead and SENCo for my precious job roles.
My Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 qualified in Childcare and Education. Level 3 first aid certificate and I have training certificates in lots of aspects of childcare such as SENCO, designated safeguarding lead, behaviour management, autism training and Makaton training. I have a relevant clear DBS check.
My Availability
I am available most evenings and weekends.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
Fees are based on years of experience and qualifications.
Hourly rate can increase based on different factors (how many children, ages, driving distance).
