Hi ! My name is Stanka, I'm 32 years old. I'm from Bratislava, Slovakia and I've worked as a nanny in London since September 2010. I'm fun and not afraid to get silly with children, sing songs or dance around. I'm also very responsible and hard working. I love being a nanny, it's the most rewarding job you can have!
My current position is coming to an end after 2 years as family is moving abroad so I’m looking for a full time (4/5 days per week) position starting September 2023 in and around clapham or battersea. I’m slightly flexible on timing. I’m happy to temp for a while too.
My Experience
I have lots of childcare experience from back home and I've worked as a full time nanny in London since September 2010. I have experience with children of all ages, including newborn/baby/toddler twins, nanny share, etc. I’m very confident in looking after multiples.
I have excellent references from all of my jobs :) All my jobs ended for reasons such as family moving out of london, one of the parents losing a job, kids going into nursery etc. I’m in touch with nearly all my previous families and still visit them/babysit for them :) I’ve always looked for a long term position and took most of these positions with the idea of it being long term position but you can’t help all the things I’ve mentioned previously. Things in childcare change so fast. One positive for sure is that I had to learn to adjust fast to new family, rules, children, household etc :)
July 2021 - now — live out nanny for two boys aged 1 and 6 (sole charge Monday-Thursday)
October 2020 - July 2021 — part time, temp and ad hoc childcare
October 2019 - October 2020 — live out nanny for 10m old boy at the start of the job, baby sister was born in March 2020 (sole charge at first, then shared care after March 2020 Tue-Fri)
August 2018 - September 2019 — live out Nanny for 6m old boy and two older boys aged 9 and 11 (sole charge Mon-Thu) - kept me on for one day per week until July 2020
May 2018 - July 1018 — live out temp nanny for girls and 3 and 5 and newborn girl and boy twins (shared care Mon-Thu) - kept me on for a day per week until May 2019
February 2018 - March 2018 -- live out nanny for 11m old boy and 5 year old boy (sole charge Mon-Thu)
February 2017 - February 2018 -- live out nanny for two boys aged 1 and 3 and 3 days out of 5 nanny share with 1 year old girl (sole charge Mon-Fri)
February 2016 - February 2017 -- live out nanny for 6 month old girl (sole charge Mon-Fri)
March 2014 - February 2016 -- live in nanny for 16 month old twin boys (sole charge, Mon-Fri)
September 2013 - December 2013 -- temporary nanny for an 8 month old little girl (sole charge, Mon-Fri)
August 2012 - September 2013 -- live in nanny for 2 and a half year old girl and twin boys (since they were 6 weeks old) (sole + shared care, 6 days a week)
January 2011 - August 2012 -- live in nanny for 3 boys aged 6 months, 2 and a half years, 10 years and 6 year old girl (sole charge, Mon-Fri)
September 2010 - December 2010 -- live in nanny for 1 year old twin girls + 2 year old girl (sole charge, Mon-Fri)
My Qualifications
I have an up to date Paediatric First Aid Certificate, DBS check and am ofsted registered.
Fluent in English, Slovak and Czech language. Basic knowledge of Polish and German language.
My Availability
