Live Out Nanny Job In Lechlade
About Me
Our family has been completed by a bubbly and very energetic 10 year old boy and 8 year old girl. My wife has returned to work full time after a period of part time work.
My Requirements
My wife and I are both in the airline industry, and therefore don't work a normal shift pattern. We are looking for someone who can be flexible to our requirements. We would require week and weekend childcare, however this is NOT a full time role so would possibly suit someone who is retired or simply looking for adhoc occasional work. A example being; John being away the whole month and myself on a 3 day trip, we would need 3 days of 24 hour childcare, alternatively John maybe working in the UK but I will still be away so will require a day and or nights cover. Some months we are both at home! We do have some help from family so if the dates don’t work for you we may be able to call in backup! We get our rosters on the first Thursday of the month for the following month, so would have 25 days notice of when or if we require childcare for the following month.

We have been fortunate to have Jaime look after our kids 6 and 9, for the past year. The kids absolutely adore her. She is proactive and encourages their inquisitive minds, always looking at news things to do and keep them occupied and off the tech, Something we struggle to do. An amazing cook, they love her food and the eldest is normal a struggle to feed. As my wife and I have jobs which take us away frequently, her flexibility has been a godsend. The house is always immaculate when we return, leaving us nothing to do before we take over.

It was apparent from our first meeting with Rebecca that she is a diligent, flexible and professional childminder, however her love, care and dedication to our son was truly exceptional.
In the six months that Rebecca has looked after Alden (sadly we have to relocate due to work otherwise we would of remained with Rebecca) his speech has come along greatly and he is a confident and polite little boy. Her handling of disciplinary issues are exceptional, with her using excellent communication skills to explain why the behaviour is not acceptable, previous issues that we had encountered when disciplining Alden have since ceased.
The activities she embarks on with the children are superb, baking (the best apple crumble we have had!) arts and crafts, free play, mornings/days out at playgroups, trampolining club, the farm, the list is endless!
We really can't speak highly enough of Rebecca and I know that we will all miss her greatly. Thank you for everything you have done.
