About Me
Hija, my name is Sara and I live with my husband and two of our four children in a four bed house on the Sunningdale estate. My husband and children all have DBS enhanced certificates, and my husband works with me occasionally as my assistant.
I love nothing more than a smiling child who learns they can conquer the world. I encourage children's eagerness to learn by exploration, using their senses and personal experiences to progress and understand the world around them. Children grow to become inquisitive, confident, independent and eager learners before they go to school
My aim as a childminder is to provide home from home comforts, while choosing to focus on early education and child development, which leads to much more personal and individual learning. Children can learn at their own pace, following their interests, gaining experiences through a variety of different activities. I provide rear facing car seats tested to the highest standard for all children in my care.
I like to go out with the children on a daily basis to lots of different local parks, playgrounds, walks, woods; as well as daily activities, music club, yoga. Giving children a wide variety of places to explore, enriching their personal experiences to broaden their knowledge in real life without limitations.
My Experience
I have worked with children for almost all of my life, and trained as a primary school teacher specialising in early years after I had finished my initial university degree. I have over a decade's experience of classroom teaching and use this knowledge and experience to tailor acitivites to children of all ages and abilities. I offer a home from home setting with a large varied selection of toys and resources to challenge children as they develop.
I have participated in numerous courses on child development, speech and language, SEND, creating confident communication and many other subjects relating to the EYFS so that i can work closely with parents in all aspects of their child's learning and progress.
I like to ensure that my children eat a healthy balanced diet that will fill them with endless energy to explore the world they live in. In my home i offer fresh organic fruits, vegetables and milk, in addition to almost exclusively home cooked foods prepared fresh on a daily basis.
I have grown up with a severe nut allergy, and so I have a full understanding and awareness of varying allergies and am able to cater for these on an individual basis. I have a completely nut-free home, i also have the ability to cater to different diets for medical and cultural reasons.

Graded GOOD by Ofsted in February 2025
Paediatric First Aid Certificate - with additional training on epipens, asthma inhalers, insulin injections.
EYFS Childminder Registration Certificate
PGCE in Primary Education, specialising in EYFS (Early Years Foundations Stage) - with 15 years experience
I am fully COVID-19 vaccinated
I hold a BSc Hons Degree in Chemistry
Home-Based Childcare Accreditation (HCBA) lvl 3 certificate from PACEY
Full Clean Driving License - extended rear facing seats for up to 6 years old.

My Availability
My standard hours will be from 8am to 5pm. I am happy to be available for any hours from early morning until late evening for those parents that have shift patterns, so i am regularly available from 7.30am to 6.00pm.
I am happy to offer all forms of government support for early education including the various funded entitlements for babies from 9 months to 4 years.
I am happy to offer full time, part time or holiday contracts to parents as i aim to be as flexible as parents need.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My standard hours are charged from £6.00 per hour for full time contracts, in 30 minute increments.
I am also happy to provide healthy, nutritious food at a reasonable cost per meal from £2 per meal, all snacks and organic juice/milk/fruit are already included in the hourly rate.
