About Me
Hello! My name is Emma Gregory, and I'm 39 years old. I have two children of my own, both at secondary school, and we all live in the lovely village of Littlebourne, along with our spaniel! My daughters attended Littlebourne Primary school and we enjoy being part of a friendly community.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder since 2013, and was a pre-school teacher for several years previously, and a nanny before that. I love working for myself and working closely with families.
In 2016 I employed a wonderful assistant called Karen, who also has ten years experience as an early years practitioner working in a pre-school and then as a reception class teaching assistant.
Karen also has 2 children, both young adults now and they live in Littlebourne too.
In September 2016 we were inspected by OFSTED and awarded the qualification of outstanding in all areas!
My Qualifications
I have a BA (hons) degree in Early Childhood Studies.
Karen holds a level 3 diploma for children and young people.
Karen and I both have valid paediatric first aid qualifications, and undertake regular training courses such as safeguarding.
Early years schemas, treasure baskets and heuristic play, baby signing, makaton, letters and sounds within the setting, and partnership with parents are a few of the training courses we have recently enjoyed attending.
My eldest daughter is diagnosed with Aspergers (ASD) so I have had lot of experience and training regarding this.
We follow the EYFS curriculum within the setting, and plan our weekly activities in line with this, along with the children's interests.
Karen and I pride ourselves on our wide range of daily outings, including lots of outdoor adventures! We attend our local music group, a group to meet other childminders, and regularly take the bus into town to visit the library and activities there. We also visit Wingham Wildlife park and local soft play centres, as well as regular woodland and riverside walks!
Ofsted inspected in September 2016 and judged as Outstanding in all areas!
My Availability
It is unusual for us to have much availability...as our setting has been full for over five years! However, some of our children are starting school in September this year and there are occasional places due to families moving away so please contact me if you would like to be added to our waiting list! We also provide before/ after school pick ups from our local school and pre-school.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
The fees that I charge do not include the children's food... everyone brings in their own lunchbox, as the children sometimes have allergies/ different dietary requirements.
I ask for a small contribution towards the costs of the outing and groups that we attend.
Fees are charged per hour. I have a minimum requirement of six hours / day and two days/ week minimum requirement, although this can be discussed.
