Hello, my name is Megan. I am 29, I consider myself to be a friendly, caring and kind-hearted individual with a great work ethic. I am both reliable and trustworthy and have great enthusiasm in my childcare work.
I started my first full time nannying job in 2018 where I cared for two lovely children which came to an end once they relocated. We had fun doing indoor and outdoor activities from imaginative play to ibounce or going to the park! I think its really important to get kids active and outdoors and love getting outside myself. Equally I like to encourage creative play through crafts, baking, toys .. whatever the children enjoy! I feel I am extremely adaptable and I have worked with children from a range of ages, also children with additional needs.
I pride myself on my approach to childcare. As well as being fun-loving and creative, I am sensitive, patient and respectful to the different households I enter and the way in which things are done.
I then worked for two lovely families, one with boys aged 3 & 5 and the other, a 1 year old girl & 6 year old boy which included overnight stays whilst the parents worked away.
I am also a mum myself to a fun loving and curious 2 year old. I’m ideally looking for something part-time, however would be open to discussion if more hours needed!

Megan has looked after our girls in the evenings and each time they have been so happy, asking when she's coming to look after them again! As a parent, I feel totally at ease when Megan
is looking after them. She is nurturing, kind, trustworthy and professional.
Overall
Our story may be a different one from a normal babysitter review. Over this past weeks Megan helped us with our son Alex, 3 years old. I was in my third trimester pregnant when I have asked Megan if she was happy to be our emergency babysitter if I would gone in labour in any moment. My husband and I have been facing a very hard moment of our life , and feeling a bit lost especially because due the covid restrictions none of my and his family could come over to help us in this very special time . Megan has been from the first moment supportive and understood all of our needs. Alex has loved her from the very first instance, and her approach with him was outstanding!!!! When I went into labour Megan arrived at home very quickly and stayed with him over night and day and also we did some sessions for some weeks before to get Alex used to know her. We can't recommend her enough!!! We will never forget this esperience in our life, but also we will never forget how lucky we have been to have found Megan in this moment! We kept her number for future occasional babysitting. We can not thank her enough for what she has done for us❤️

Overall
Megan has been with us for over a year.
She is brilliant with the kids and follows their whole routine from picking the kids from school/nursery, walking them home, giving them dinner, followed by their bath and bed time routine. She also plays with them appropriately like the imaginative games my son loves or the sensory play with my daughter. Megan also attended a few ABA workshops for my daughter as she has a diagnosis of autism and carried out the suggestions given to her meticulously. She’s proactive and always there to lend a hand. We have moved to London and Megan has been travelling to help us out till we find a new nanny!
Megan is punctual, energetic and has a whole lot of positive vibe around her. My kids will miss her terribly and so will I! We wish her the very best in finding the right family to be with.

Megan was very caring while babysitting my 3 and 1 year olds at my home. She spent the whole day with them and they enjoyed being with her. She's gentle and very friendly. I recommend Megan.
