About Me

Hello! My name is Shakisha and I am from Tooting. I am 27 years old and have a 5 year old son. I am fun, friendly and caring. I come from a large family with altogether about 25 nieces and nephews!! Half my family are childcare and healthcare senior professionals and I am a healthcare assistant in a local hospital.

My Experience

I have worked within the childcare sector since I was 15 years old - 7-8 years. I started out teaching dance at my sisters playscheme and eventually the company offered me a playworker job. I studied childcare level 1 and 2 after my playworker contract ended and recieved my qualifications/certificates in 2012. During my studies i had been working in a nursery / primary school in Hackney. I took a 1 year break from childcare and gained a business and administration level 2 qualification. I started out in the childcare sector again thereafter, beginning with agency work meanwhile volunteering in KINGS hospital. I worked as a Midwife Assistant for a year before moving and relocating to Tooting where I studied Access to Nursing and became a Healthcare Assistant at St Georges Hospital.
