Enya's Childcare

"A Nest Away From Home"

Enya's Childcare offers an 'Outstanding' in all areas setting (05/2018) providing preschool and out of school sessions that embraces the learning philosophy of 'Reggio Emilia', focusing on the environment as the third teacher. Their innovative approach values the child as capable, strong and rich with wonder and knowledge.

They have an emphasis on outdoor learning, daily walks and in the moment planning which truly caters to each childs individual learning journey and needs. All of the settings caring staff are paediatric trained, level 3 or above and are nurture the children to ensure they are school ready. They support the children by promoting kindness, mindfulness, imagination and an enjoyment for learning. They grow their own fruit and vegetables and are then involved in preparing these to eat along with the help from their dedicated in house cook.

They have achieved the GREEN FLAG award from 'Eco Schools' (02/2018) and are well on their way in making a positive impact on the environment which supports the child's innate interest to understand their world and their place within it.
