About Me

Hello my name is Michaela, (kay for short).
I am married and also a mother to 4 fully grown children as well as 9 grandchildren.
I have been childminding now for 32 years and it's something that I have always loved to do.
I am OFSTED registered and in my last inspection and all previous inspections have been graded Good and I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare.
I live in Bow which is a short walk from Bromley-By-Bow station and Devons Road DLR station. I actually live on school grounds with high fences and plenty of outside space to run around and ride bikes.
I look after children aged 5 and under getting them ready for their school life and seeing and being a part of children's development is something that brings me great fulfilment.
I take the children out on a daily basis so that they access different children centres and playgroups as well local city parks and farms, museums and the Discover Centre in Stratford, sometimes even small forests for our forrestry lessons depending on the time of year. The children in my care then have access to a wide array of learning development areas across the EYFS, and grow into confident independent learners. As I do this I sometimes meet with other childminders so that the children I care for have a little circle of friends that they look forward to seeing.
My Experience
I am a childminder with over 32 years of experience. Over the years I have received glowing reviews from all parents past and present.
I also have an NVQ level 3 in childcare.
The early years foundation stage (EYFS) requirements change all the time and to keep in line with this I attend regular training through the London borough of tower hamlets and the national childminding association (PACEY).

*I currently have a space becoming available for January and could possibly start before if needed but can do no less than three days.*

Lastly, please contact me with any questions you may have, I know that returning to work and leaving your little ones is a very tough thing to do and I will do my upmost to help this transition be as smooth and comfortable as possible, working together so that it suits parents, child and myself.
