About Me

OFSTED GRADED GOOD childminder and member of PACEY, located in BH10. I live with my husband and three children aged 13, 8 and 5. Conveniently located for Kingsleigh Primary School.
I have been childminding for over seven years and provide a home from home environment. I aim to strengthen the children’s development and learning whilst providing a fun and nurturing experience. Children learn best through play and I enhance this with a variety of both indoor and outdoor resources and actively collaborate with parents about their development. I work alongside my assistant Zoe, and have a dedicated playroom for the children. We enjoy the great outdoors and undertaking messy play; exploring and using creativity to develop a child’s sense of self.
We love getting out every day; we regularly visit local libraries, music groups and the beach – we also visit a local care home. We meet regularly with local minders establishing the children’s social skills and cultural capital. I offer many opportunities for children to gain independence whilst relishing their interests. We will encourage children to develop an understanding around food and nutrition whilst also being considerate of dietary requirements. In my setting we are avid readers enjoying stories and singing sessions during our circle time.
My ultimate aim is to provide an environment where your child can thrive and embrace their individuality.

My Experience

Aside from being a mother myself, I have been registered with Ofsted for over 7 years and have complied with all requirements. I work with a variety of families and am conscientious of their needs.

My Fees

  • Childminding from £7.00 per hour

My fees include any outings to groups, play areas and trips. A healthy snack, resources, nappies and wipes are also incorporated.

Ellie has cared for our one year old daughter and we love her!
She is friendly, fun, loving and caring! I couldnt feel happier knowing our baby is in her care and our daughter is always excited to go back.
I couldnt recommend Ellie more!

A childminder who goes above and beyond

Ellie has been our childminder now for the past couple of months. I cannot recommend her enough! I've had previous childminders for my older children and there is no comparison. Her priority is providing a safe and loving environment while teaching independance and toddler skills, but most importantly making sure your child is content and happy. She's fun, loves messy play and our daughter absolutely loves her and has become close friends with her daughter. Ellie has baby sat for us, and on short notice. We trust her and her lovely family.
