About Me
My name is Catherine (Cath) Bent, I've been an Ofsted registered childminder for 20 years. I've been married to Chris for 25years.
I live in a cul de sac on a popular estate in Newton le Willows. (Birds). Close to two local Schools and also Parks.
I offer a home from home childcare service, with a large selection of toys and equipment for children from newborn - 5 years. My conservatory is a "play room", and a child friendly enclosed garden.
I have a 4 year old 'Westiepoo' dog who is part of the family. (Hypo allergenic, 2 asthmatics live here with no issues)
Living close to the park for outdoor play, I also take children to Playcentres so they can "run off" energy in a safe environment, especially in our wonderful wet winters.
I am registered with St Helen's Council, and I also offer funded childcare from the term following 2nd/3rd birthdays (2 year funding where applicable)
15 hours 2/3/4year olds and also 30 hours 3 & 4 years old.
My Experience
I'm a mother of 2 boys now aged 21 & 19 years,(both DBS checked and first aid trained) as I've been childminding 20 years it's all my boys have known to have other children in the home. They love their "extended family". My husband works shifts so can sometimes be found at the park with us on his "rest days"...
I have cared for children from 3 months onwards, and have worked with some famliles for 5+ years.

Managing childrens behaviour,
Food Hygiene Rating under St Helens Council.
Makaton level 1 & 2
plus many other courses attended over the years.
I drive a 7 seater car with all relevant car seats which has business use insurance.
Public liability insurance held.
Full lilsting held on St Helens council page.
My Availability
My usual working pattern is Monday-Friday, 7.30am-5.15pm but a little flexibility can be discussed.
Term time contract and sibling discounts.

- Childminding from £3.50 per hour
Full day fee's discount for full time (mon-fri)
sibling discount rate
Half daily fee's (7.30-12.30/12.30-5.30pm)
Term time only contract rates.
Included in my fees are Breakfast/Lunch and 2 healthy snacks, drinks.
I don't charge fees hourly
I offer funded 15 or 30 hours childcare.
