I am Ana Guilor, Ofsted registered childminder graded 'outstanding' in August 2015, mother of two and new grandmother.
I became a childminder when I moved to Beckenham and had my daughters who are now registered as my assistants. We have always been a very close family, and my home setting offers a loving and caring environment for the children I mind. It has been adapted over the last 20 years to become the ideal setting for children, with a fully equipped playroom and garden specially designed for children of all ages.
My setting is ideally located next to Clare House Primary School, in a residential area close to Kelsey Park. I offer childminding services from 7:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday that includes school drop-offs/ pick-ups from Clare House, St. Christopher's The Hall Independent Preparatory (Prep) School and Beckenham Montessori. I am registered to care for 6 children under 8 years old, of which up to 3 can be under 5 years old and 1 under 1 year old.
My care provides the children I mind with:
- a wide and varied range of experiences with trips to local parks, farms, libraries, leisure centers and playgroups;
- the best start to their education fully preparing them for primary school level learning; and
- a healthy and balanced lifestyle where they enjoy healthy meals and active play.
My Experience
I have over 20 years of experience as a registered childminder during which time I have cared for children of all ages, with a range of needs, from many backgrounds and cultures. I have always worked closely with parents and other childcare providers to ensure that the children I mind receive the best care and individual attention.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 Childcare and Education
Paediatric First Aid and First Aid at work
I regularly attend Early Years and Ofsted approved courses to ensure that my training is constantly updated in order that I continue to provide the highest standard of care for the children I mind.

Ana Guilor has cared for our daughter for 3.5 years and our son for almost 12 months. We would wholeheartedly recommend Ana’s childminding setting to other families.
From the moment we met Ana, she radiated warmth, professionalism and kindness. It is clear that Ana takes her work very seriously, working hard and drawing on many years of experience to create a supportive environment for the children.
As well as providing a nurturing home environment, Ana has taken our children on interesting day trips and excursions to parks, farms and even the coast. Our children have been lucky to spend time with Ana’s grandchildren and daughters, which has given an extra feeling of family and togetherness to their care.
Parents whose children are with Ana can have complete peace of mind, knowing that their children are safe, well cared for and able to develop a strong bond with a responsive care giver.
On a practical note, Ana has always had great communication with us as parents and clear policies, given us good advance notice of any leave, and generally has been as flexible as possible.
In short: I cannot imagine our life these past years without Ana in it. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her.

Sent my boy to Ana from 18 months to until he started reception in 2026. My son adores her. She disciplines children really well and becomes like family instantly. Children are very well fed and cared for. She always goes out of the way to help families. Highly recommended.

Ana took our daughter under her care from October 2020, when she was nearly a year old till she was 4 years old. We have been impressed and pleased with how far the development of our daughter has come over those years under Ana’s care. Ana has shown us to be diligent, caring and highly professional in her role as our child minder. She has given us so much support, advice and guidance over the years in giving our daughter the best possible care which we are so grateful for. Her childminding set up really feels like home away from home and we were fortunate that our daughter was able to grow up and spend her early years with Ana’s delightful young grandchildren. It has been a lovely period of time for my daughter and we will always be thankful to Ana for all her help and support over those years.
