About Us
Hi, I’m Fiona. I have been working in childcare for 16 years. I am a Ofsted registered childminder and run a daycare on non domestic premises too. I have three university qualifications that relate to the social, educational and emotional needs of children and families.
I believe in promoting self esteem and motivating children to enjoy both education and the social elements of society through nurture and self value.
I have three children, my sons who are 18 and 14 and a daughter who is 25 and also NVQ3 qualified.
I am makaton trained and have worked closely supporting families with children on the autistic spectrum
I have a specialist background in behaviour management and been a facilitator and trainer for Living with children/teenagers
I have paediatric first Aid and a full DBS enhanced certificate
I am Ofsted registered and hold a valid EY number and I am registered for my day care too at Pilsley Sports Pavilion, S45 8DB
I have up to date safeguarding training.
I have a a valid Food hygiene certificate with a 5 * score equivalent

Our Fees
- Childcare from £38.50 per morning
- Childcare from £38.00 per afternoon
- Childcare from £68.00 per day
Fee's are negotiable depending on level of need and support required. Hourly charge begins at £6 per hour and half and full day prices between £27.50 and £50

My eldest has just graduated from Nanny McFiFi’s and my youngest still attends. I can honestly say Nanny McFiFi’s has been absolutely brilliant for my children. My eldest really struggled when he started - he lacked confidence and he didn’t want to go. Fiona and her staff went so far above and beyond to help him grow in confidence and settle in. We didn’t know what to do and they supported us and him so much. He quickly became super excited to go in every day and is now a much more confident boy, ready to start school and makes friends easily. My youngest also struggled to settle and they have spent so much time helping him out with great success and now he also loves going. Both my children have been growing so much in their abilities since starting thanks to the brilliant activities that are tailored to help them develop further. My eldest always felt adequately challenged which he needs and my youngest who has been a slightly late talker has come on leaps and bounds since starting here. The imagination and creativity of the staff is amazing - the adventures they go on, the fun activities and the opportunities for creative expression (which are all shared with us via an app through the day) make every single day an exciting learning experience for my boys and I am constantly being taught everything when they get home! One of the most important things I wanted for my children was to learn about kindness and empathy - 100% success - Nanny McFiFi’s don’t just teach this, they just exude this all the time and they care so much for every single child they have, they know them inside out and how to cater for their individual needs and help them grow. It’s been amazing and I can’t wait for my youngest to start going more often. My eldest is now ready for the next adventure! Thank you!

What a beautiful review, these two children like all of the ones we have are truly loved and will go on to be kind and caring grown ups, just like their mum, dad and grand parents are ❤️
100% recommend Nanny Fi & all of her lovely staff! They are all so kind, loving and caring, they treat all of the children like they are their own. My daughter has attended since July and has loved it ever since, she settled in straight away. Fi sends pics and updates throughout the day which is nice to see whilst at work. The children are always learning and doing a range of fun and educational activities and my daughter always comes home with arts and crafts she has done that day. I would never send my daughter anywhere else ❤️ xx

Nanny Mcfifi's is a fantastic child care provider. My son has been going just under a year now from being 6months old and I feel like he is cared for like one of her own, paying attention to his individual likes and dislikes.
Nanny mcfifi's is always helpful at very short notice and always happy to send pics or messages letting me know how he is getting on during the day which you never get with a nursery.
I can not recommend Nanny Mcfifi's enough, Fiona and her staff are happy, approachable and 100%caring.
