About Me
I am a full-time registered childminder of Bangladeshi origin. I have lived in my area for the past 15 years, so I am very familiar with the local area. I live with my husband and 3 children, aged 22, 18 (all are DBS checked) and 12 years old. We live in a semi-detached house with quite a large garden.
I really enjoy looking after children, which I realised as a teenager looking after my young nieces and nephews.
I enjoy gardening and cooking different cuisines in my free time. I am fluent in 5 languages (English, Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi) and I am currently learning Arabic.
My Experience
I started childminding in 2001 so I have 15 years' experience and previously worked in nurseries and preschools since 1996.
I usually take children from 3 months of age until about 12/13 years old. I am happy to take younger children for full-time or part-time childcare. I offer 16 hours free childcare per week for 3-5 year olds.
I am able to drive, so I can do school runs in my local area.
With the children I mind, I like to keep them busy with arts and crafts, baking, activities and playing games. Sometimes I organise seasonal activities e.g. Easter egg hunt, Christmas party. I also keep plenty of toys and books for children to play with and read. We visit the playgroup and library regularly and local parks, sometimes I take them for a day trip.

CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Pre-School Practice (Grade E) in 2002

Paediatrics First Aid Course (Pass) in 2016
Food hygeine Course (Pass) in 2014
