Manager needs to be replaced

Manager needs to be replaced she is not fit to manage a nursery. There were no signs on the nursery door telling parents not to let other parents into the nursery (for obvious safeguarding reasons). A man tried to intimidate me into letting him into the nursery when I was leaving with my toddler then was extremely rude about it when I refused due to safeguarding and basic common sense. I raised this with the manager who DIDNT CARE she said he's a "really nice guy" completely ignoring the safeguarding risks to all the children in her care. I spoke to one of the dads I know whose children also attend about the incident and he told me this happened to him at another nursery where a man tried to force him to open the door pushing past etc and when he reported it he was told the man had been stripped of his parental rights legally and was trying to gain access to the nursery. I emailed the manager again after this to inform her what id been told and highlight the REAL risks and she DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO REPLY. On another occasion she tried to gaslight me that id 'forgotten' to email her my child's funding code when I had done and she had missed the deadline to give it to the local authority HERSELF. On yet another occasion she trampled all over my parenting by behaving in a way towards my child that undermined me completely then she accused me of ATTACKING her when I spoke to her about it. Then she maliciously reported me to social services! This woman is a narcissistic game player not a nursery manager. Very sick behaviour. She needs to be replaced.

Rescued me!

Liv was kind enough to drop everything and rush over to replace a babysitter who cancelled on me two hours before the booking was due to start. I had VIP cageside tickets to the MMA in Manchester and really needed to attend! Thanks to Liv I was still able to attend the event. My toddler is sleep trained 7pm-7am so was asleep during the booking (7-12). Liv spent her time with my two little dogs and cat who loved cuddling up with her. Liv responded to messages promptly when I text to check in a couple of times. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Liv for babysitting she is a friendly, competent person and I will definitely use her as a sitter again. Thanks Liv xx

Cancelled two hours before the booking

I haven't used Michelle before but read she has two good reviews on the site. I messaged 3hrs before the booking was due to start (7pm this evening) and had a reply from Michelle an hour later saying she was just about to message me that her child had just thrown up and was clingy. I didn't know Michelle is a single mum with nobody else to help care for her children when she is working. I have expensive VIP tickets to an event this evening and am now without childcare two hours before the event. In my opinion this is unforgivable. On this basis I would not recommend Michelle.
