About Me

My name is Gemma I live in the Laverstock area in Salisbury and after a 2 year break, due to family commitments. I am now please to announce I am registering with Ofsted and will have spaces available from October.

I Have 6 year experience in childcare and come from 3 generations of childminders with both my Grandmother and mum being childminders for over 17 year. So you could say it’s in my blood . I live with my Husband, my 9 year old daughter and 7 year old Son and together We live in the Laverstock area offering a welcoming, loving home.

I believe Children develop best in their early years when they feel safe and happy in their environment and have the freedom to learn though discovery and play. Which is why I offer a home form home environment, with lots of fun, interesting resources, which allow children to explore their creativity and imagination. We also have access to a garden with a mud kitchen and local park, just feet away from the house. On top of this I regularly take the children on outings to various places such as National trust venues, the new forest, or nature walks, where we look for frogs, go berries picking, look for butterflies, or go on natural treasures huts plus many more exciting adventures. On occasions these visits are accompanied by other registered childminders offering the children the chances to socialise with other children around the same age.
