About Me
My husband and I work full time. We have 3 children aged between 10-15.
Our son (aged 13) has Angelman syndrome and special needs. He goes to special school and I can't be in two places at once for afterschool pickup, and also to be able to do some work from home after 3pm on weekdays
My Requirements
We need help after school 3-4 days a week, possibly 5. My son gets home on school transport about 3.15pm. We need someone at our house from about 3.15pm/6.15pm each day (but times can be a little flexible) to supervise him so I can work in the home office for a couple more hours post school run (his two siblings are quite able to amuse themselves so no need for you to be in charge of them too!). We will usually be in the house so available to help if you have any concerns about my son’s needs. I am open to offers of help some week days if you can't do all of them. Our present nanny is retiring on a phased basis during the autumn with full retirement in January, so we can do a phased intro on a day or two if needed, building up to the full 4/5 days in the new year.
My son is non/verbal, very happy and easy going, and will be happy to watch TV and wash up at the kitchen sink with you (his favourite pastime!)
