My Experience

I began my childcare journey working as an au pair, where I gained hands-on experience caring for children within a family home. This role helped me develop a strong foundation in creating routines, supporting daily activities, and building close, trusting relationships with both children and parents.
Following this, I moved into working in nursery settings, where I further developed my knowledge and skills while completing my Level 3 qualification in Childcare. During this time, I gained experience working with different age groups and supporting children’s development in line with the EYFS framework.
Through dedication and consistent performance, I progressed within the nursery environment to become a Room Manager. In this role, I was responsible not only for the care and development of the children but also for leading a team, planning activities, overseeing observations, and ensuring high standards of care and organisation within the room.

My Qualifications

I am a dedicated and caring childcare professional with a strong understanding of child development and early years education. I hold relevant childcare qualifications and have practical experience supporting children of different ages, helping them grow in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
I am trained in safeguarding and understand the importance of promoting children’s welfare at all times. I also have knowledge of the EYFS framework, allowing me to support learning through play and age-appropriate activities that encourage development across all areas.
Additionally, I am confident in creating structured daily routines, supporting emotional wellbeing, and fostering positive behaviour. I am patient, reliable, and passionate about providing high-quality care tailored to each child’s individual needs.
