About Me
I am a highly educated and experienced science tutor teaching at KS3-KS5 and University level. I have personal flair for teaching and strive to give my best to planning and delivery. My teaching is student centred with the contents focused on the exact specifications.
My Experience
I am an experienced science tutor with a PhD in chemistry and 3+ years of teaching experience in 1-to-1 settings. I have taught all three GCSE science and A-Level chemistry and biology both for the old and new specifications. I have taught all major exam boards in England, and have always received good feedback from the families I worked with.
My strengths in teaching are knowledge of the specifications, skills in exam preparation, student centred teaching, and approachability. I am friendly and get along very easy with my students. The families I work with feel very comfortable with me around their children. I also have a DBS check.

I cannot recommend highly enough for Aneela's exceptional work as a private tutor for my autistic son, who is preparing for his GCSEs. She understands the unique needs of a neurodivergent learner, and constantly adapted her teaching style to suit my son's strengths, challenges, and sensory preferences. Aneela has a gift connecting with students, my son enjoyed her lessons and made significant progress in his science subjects. We are grateful for Aneela's helps from the bottom of our hearts.
