Babysitter in West Lancashire
My Summary
About Me
Working with children is something I genuinely love, it’s so rewarding to be part of their learning, development, and everyday little milestones. I feel very lucky to have built a career around something that brings me so much joy.
I have over 10 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I began my journey in a nursery setting, moved into childminding, and for the past 5+ years I’ve worked as a private nanny. This has given me a well-rounded understanding of children’s needs at different stages, as well as how to support busy families in a calm and reliable way.
I hold a Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People’s Workforce, and I also have a background in catering and hospitality, so I’m confident preparing healthy meals and snacks for children.
I would describe myself as warm, patient, and easy to get along with. I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable to be themselves. Whether it’s getting creative with arts and crafts, playing outdoors, or supporting learning through play, I’m always happy to get involved and make activities engaging.
Most importantly, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your children in someone else’s care. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and supportive,
not just for the children, but for the whole family.
My Experience
I have over 10 years of experience working with children across a variety of settings. I began my career in a nursery environment, where I spent 3 years supporting children’s early development and learning through structured play and routine.
Following this, I moved into more personalised childcare, working independently as both a babysitter and a nanny. I have had numerous babysitting roles over the years, many of which are still ongoing, which I feel reflects the strong relationships and trust I build with families.
For the past 5+ years, I have worked as a private nanny, gaining extensive experience caring for children of different ages, managing daily routines, supporting development, and creating a safe, nurturing environment within the home.
My experience has allowed me to become adaptable, reliable, and confident in meeting the individual needs of each child and family I work with.
