About Me

My name is Sara A'Barrow and I live in Helston. Married to Paul I have 4 grown up children. Throughout the year I work with two assistants one of whom is my husband. We look after up to six under 5's a day plus at our home. We operate from our own home, and have a comfortable setting for 0-5 year olds to be nurtured. We do provide limited holiday care and inset day provision to school children.

My Experience

I have spent 8 years as a teaching assistant but became a childminder over 13 years ago and haven't looked back. I have a degree, diploma, A'levels and O'Levels, plus an NVQ2 and 3 in childcare and teaching assistant.
I rated good in my first Ofsted inspection, in my second I was awarded Outstanding and in my most recent inspection in June 2022 I was awarded Outstanding yet again. I have only had positive feedback from the parents I have worked with.

Degree and Diploma, 4 A’level,9 O’levels, 1 GCSE,
NVQ Levels 2 & 3 teaching assistant and childcare

My Availability

We work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. We are a year round service with a calendar of our own holidays which give a year advance notice. We currently have some availability from September 2026 so please feel free to contact.
