Hello, I’m an Ofsted-registered childminder based in the Rowley Regis area, with 15 years of experience caring for children from babies through to school age.
I am passionate about providing children with a safe, caring and nurturing home-from-home environment where they feel happy, secure and confident to learn and explore. My aim is to make every child feel valued as an individual while supporting their development, interests and growing independence.
My Setting
My childminding setting has been lovingly created within a dedicated area of my family home. I provide a welcoming environment with a wide range of stimulating, age-appropriate resources and activities, allowing children to learn naturally through play and exploration.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and provide opportunities to support all areas of children’s development. I take time to get to know each child and use their individual interests to help plan meaningful experiences and activities.
Learning Outdoors and Outings
I believe children benefit enormously from spending time outdoors and experiencing the world around them. We regularly get out and about rather than spending all of our time indoors.
We enjoy forest school, nature walks, parks, farms, zoos, local attractions and other outings, as well as plenty of outdoor play within our own setting. These experiences give children opportunities to develop their confidence, physical skills, independence and social skills while discovering and learning about the world around them.
I also enjoy providing children with opportunities to explore nature, get creative, investigate, problem-solve and, most importantly, have fun.
Working With Parents
I believe a strong partnership with parents is really important. I work closely with families to understand their child’s individual routines, interests, personality and individual needs, helping to ensure that they receive consistent and responsive care.
I want parents to feel confident that their child is being cared for in a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where they can learn, develop and enjoy their time with me.

My Experience
I have worked in a variety of childcare and education roles since leaving college at 18, giving me many years of experience working with children and families of all ages and backgrounds.
Early in my career, I worked with teenage mothers on a dedicated unit, supporting young mothers and their babies. I also spent time working at a local youth centre, gaining valuable experience supporting older children and young people.
I then progressed into working as a full-time nursery nurse, where I cared for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. During my time in nursery, I progressed to become a Room Manager, taking on additional responsibilities and supporting the learning, development and individual needs of the children in my care.
I have now been an Ofsted-registered childminder for 15 years. Over this time, I have gained extensive experience caring for babies, toddlers and pre-school children, supporting them through their early years and preparing them for their next steps.
I am passionate about creating a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued and encouraged to learn through play. I understand that every child is different, and I take the time to get to know each child’s personality, interests, routines and individual needs.
My experience across different areas of childcare has given me a broad understanding of children’s development and the importance of working closely with parents to provide consistent and responsive care.

My Availability
I currently have availability on Mondays and Fridays with immediate starts available.
I will also have part-time and full-time spaces becoming available from July 2027 due to school leavers.
