About Me
We are looking for a part time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work 1:1 with a boy, year 5 at an Independent school in London (W10). Hours are 16 hours per week between 8.30 and 12.30 4 days per week starting from September 2025. We provide full permanent contract. Experience of SEN desirable, experience of working in a school setting desirable.
Work is during term time only (34 weeks per year)
Total compensation is £11,000

Jay has been working as a Learning support assistant for our son who has autism since September for three days a week. We have been extremely happy with her and my son adores her. She is reliable with her hours, caring and affectionate towards our son, but firm when needed. She works independently but also follows programmes from the SLT and OT. We hope she will continue to work with our son and don’t hesitate to recommend her for any childcare position.
Overall
Maria Grazia has been looking after our son regularly for over four months and we could not be happier with her. She is punctual, reliable and my son adores her. Maria Grazia has been very flexible with many requests I had for her. She regularly attends playgroups with my son and also brings him to medical appointments and speech and language therapy. She cooks healthy meals for him and has been fostering his independence in all sorts of tasks. Every time I come home the house is very tidy and my son is very happy. She also has been doing evening babysitting for us and has always been great with no disruption to my son’s routine. I could not wish for a better nanny and can wholeheartedly recommend her.
