About Me
Hi, I run LittleVales Childminding from a unique hall-based setting at Salfords guide hall, close to Gatwick Airport and East Surrey Hospital. I am married and have two children, a 23-year-old daughter and a 18-year-old son. I enjoy arts and crafts and love spending time outdoors, visiting parks and National Trust properties. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
My Experience
I have 28 years of childcare experience. I gained my diploma in childcare in 2000 and from there worked in a private day nursery where I quickly became the baby unit leader caring for 18 under 2 year olds and leading a team of 6 practitioners. I then became a childminder to care for my own family alongside, I cared for various children of ages ranging from 2 months up to the age of 8 years. I then became a nanny for 6 years for two families with children aged 1 year to 12 years. I was then made redundant due to Covid-19 and returned to a private day nursery where I was once again a baby room leader with up to 22 babies under 18 months old. I then re registered as a childminder in my home at westvale park in 2022.

I currently have childcare spaces available at Little Vales Childminding, based in our lovely new hall setting at Salford’s guide hall.
We offer a unique, home-from-home childminding experience with smaller ratios, allowing children to receive plenty of individual attention in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
We welcome enquiries for full-time and part-time places and accept funded childcare hours for eligible families.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
At Little Vales Childminding, our hourly rate is £8.50, which includes healthy, nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day.
I accept government-funded childcare hours for eligible families, including up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week.
We believe in providing high-quality, affordable childcare with clear and transparent fees.
