My Requirements

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and energetic person to help with childcare for our two boys, currently aged 8 and 10, in the Leamington Spa area.

Our main requirement is **school holiday cover for around 6 weeks during summer 2027**, likely to be a mixture of full days during the working week. We’re planning well ahead as we’d ideally like to find someone who can get to know the boys beforehand and become a familiar, trusted person for our family.

We’d also love to have some **flexible/ad-hoc childcare throughout the year**, particularly during other school holidays and occasional days when work commitments mean we need some extra childcare. There may also be opportunities for occasional after-school or evening babysitting if this suits you.

The boys are 8 and 10 and are increasingly independent, so we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with older children: taking them out, playing games, helping them find things to do and generally making school holidays fun rather than simply supervising them.

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Warm, confident and dependable
• Comfortable looking after two school-age children
• Happy to take them out for activities around town
• Able to prepare simple meals/snacks
• Ideally able to drive and has their own car
• DBS checked and able to provide references

We can be flexible about how the summer weeks are arranged and would be very happy to discuss hours, days and pay with the right person.
