About Me
Hi, my name is Audra, and I have been an Ofsted registered childminder in the London Borough of Bromley for over 15 years.
I am 49 years old, and I have a 19-year-old son who is currently studying at university during the day. We live on a pleasant residential road, just a 10-minute walk from Grove Park train station and with easy access to all major bus routes.
I am delighted to offer children a warm, playful and safe home-from-home environment. I truly love working with children and take great joy in watching them grow, develop and shine. My aim is to provide a stimulating, positive and nurturing space where every child can thrive, build their confidence and grow into their own unique, independent individual. I plan a wide range of fun activities that naturally support and extend children’s learning and development at their own pace.
My home includes a dedicated playroom and a large secure outdoor area. We are also lucky to have lovely local parks and woodland nearby for regular outings. The children enjoy plenty of crafts, messy play, weekly singing and rhyming sessions, plus regular visits to the local library, children’s playgroups and forest school!
I am registered with Bromley Early Years and I am able to accept funded 15-hour and 30-hour childcare places.

I have gained a lot of experience and confidence working with children over the years. I have obtained childcare qualifications since 2016 and keep my certification up to date with trainings.

Look no further. We found Audra many years ago, on a personal recommendation.
My two children spent 5 years at Audra's house respectively, from toddler's age until the end of primary school.
Sending them to a home away from home on my working days was my wish. Audra more than answered this. Audra treated them with warmth, and I totally trust her. As a trained arts teacher, Audra regularly did creative and arts activities with my children, which they loved - as well as, from time to time, cool experiments such as a homemade lava lamp! They also enjoyed spending time outside in her garden, as well as going for walks to parks and playgrounds.
I cannot recommend Audra enough - my children and I miss seeing her, now that they have outgrown the age of childminding.

I am so grateful For Audra and for finding her in the right moment.
I was looking for a childminder for my son for over a month I was visiting different ladies, however none of them would give me that straight away click that mums feel whenever they find the right person to trust their kids.
Audra was the last one to see just before the school started and Thanks God she was the one .
I knew it as soon as she opened the door to me and my kids.
Her sweet face and lovely communication gave me the confidence to decide that I could trust my kids to her.
My son loved Audra from begging and he was happy with her from day one. Something that didn’t happen for a year with the previous childminder .
Audra was very flexible and worked out around my work schedule , which helped me a lot .
She makes nice food for the kids as weell.
I really have the best words for her ☺️
100% recommended !!!

We couldn't be happier with the care provided by Audra. She has been a lifesaver for our family. Audra was always flexible and accommodating, which has helped us manage our schedules. Our child loved spending time there and always comes home happy and full of stories about their day!" My son started with Audra when he was 9mths old. He's now 7 and we still use her.
Audra is a very warm, kind, fun and active person. She engages the children with arts & crafts, baking & long walks/ playground visits with picnics. All children (including my son) are bubbly and smiling when ever I visit. We hold Audra in high regard & truly recommend her 👌

Audra has an amazing setting with plenty of toys and books (for all ages). Her house is a warm and cozy place with a secure child friendly garden where the children have access over the summer. She also organises outdoor pool activity time where children can splash all together.
Also, she has got the best trampoline ever seen.
During winter time, she takes childrens to playgrounds and children centres, group activities or simply buzzing around the proximity of her house experiencing nature.
Moreover, my son who is 2 years old, comes back home happy with so many beautiful art creations, she makes very nice food too.
Audra is very trustworthy and reliable, and I could not ask for more from a childminder.

My daughter Angela has been with Audra since Sep 2021, when she was 10-month old. I was really anxious initially as all mums might think if my baby would be happy. Fortunately, Angela got used to it in less than four days, and she absolutely loves Audra, Monica and all the friends she made there.
The days are structured brilliantly so that kids can almost always go out to parks or playgroups in the morning, go back for lunch and nap, enjoy afternoon playtime. I followed this routine during the Xmas break myself, and it worked super well, too.
There are various pedagogies out there for early year education. But I believe the most important thing is to care for kids with a lot of love which Audra definitely does.
It’s so fantastic to see Angela has had a great day each time I pick her up. Sometimes kids even want to stay more! Don’t worry, even if he/she is really young and cannot speak yet, you definitely can tell if they are happy or not during the day.
It’s so sad we have to leave because we need to relocate to Italy. I do hope we could find something similar in Rome even though I am sure it is not possible as childminder service is not popular and Angela will have to get used to a nursery. I’ve recommended Audra to all my neighbours, and you will definitely not regret it if you choose her.
P.S. you will receive pictures from time to time from Audra during the days, so you will know that your kids are having fun.

I highly recommend audra, I left my kid at the age 2 . By the time she didn’t speak well, after she started say colors and alphabet and numbers,but unfortunately we have moved to other location, Our kid very happy with audra.

My son started with Audra when he was 9 months old & he's now 3.5yrs!
Audra is fun, caring, and very hard working. Her setting is brilliant & at collection time its always buzzing with happy smiley children laughing loudly.
My sons developing social skills are a credit to Audra.
Our kitchen is full of arts & crafts he makes whilst with her.
Most importantly, my son is extremely fond of Audra and the friends he's made at hers.
There have been occasions he hasn't wanted to leave because he's having so much fun!!
It will be a very sad day when he leaves childcare & moves on to school.

My DD has been going to Audra for over 2 yrs now, starting when she was about 18m. Audra has really encouraged her development, getting her to do a lot of lovely creative activities and games. She's helped ensure balanced meals, and has been especially considerate with making food vegetarian for my DD. She has a lot of experience in guiding very young children through key milestones - walking, talking, potty training etc - and also through early learning with phonics/numerics, arts and crafts for fine motor skills. She's maintained a lovely setting that caters to different age groups and my daughter has made some great friends she loves to meet everyday. With a large garden, the kids get plenty of safe outdoor play time when the weather is good. Audra also has great connections with local baby and toddler groups and is keen on encouraging physical activity with trips to playgrounds and parks. Over the last 2 yrs, she's been supporting us as parents with changes in routines, setting boundaries and building confidence in my strong-willed 3.5yo. My DD really looks forward to spending her days with Audra, so really pleased to have her on board.

Audra looked after our daughters(4yrs and 20months). the girls truly enjoyed their time there. She puts a huge amount of effort into her job and takes the kids out almost every day to the park/toddler groups etc... She is so creative and cared. every day the kids come home with some little art and crafts, or with a new game just learnt from Audra.
It's a truly heartbreaking that we cannot continue with her, because of my work. But I don't loose occasion to recommend her to anyone I could not recommend her highly enough!
