My Requirements
i’m looking for a person experienced in SEN CHILDCARE , to care and give great 121 development opportunities for my son who is 6.
He is severely autistic, has global developmental delay and is non verbal, he has little receptive language.
He needs care to help him flourish, which will require a lot of new ideas and patience. He is a loving and happy boy, mostly content doing his own thing. He goes to Sen school and is happy there.
We are looking for someone to cover his PA hours which are currently 4 hours a week term time and 8 hours a week school holidays.
We would like regular weekend hours with additional days in school holidays.
The idea is to take him out into the community, give him opportunities to develop and experience the world around him with inclusion, patience and care. Some fun outings, some necessary things he will need to get used to like shopping, waiting, bus journeys etc, park trips, walks in the woods, trips to the seaside. Cafe trips etc.
