About Me
Hi I’m Emma and I am 41 years old.
I live in the Whitburn area of South Tyneside and have done so all my life. I am married with 3 children 15, 11 and 8 years old. We also have one cat and three dogs.
I’m a Ofsted registered childminder offering high quality childcare and education with all relevant and up to date qualifications. All of which are available to see. I have over 20 years experience working with children.
I have a GOOD grading in all areas by Ofsted! I offer a range of exciting and engaging activities to support individual learning and development. This is done indoors and outdoors whilst offering a home from home environment.
I offer 2y and 3y old funding, School drop off and pick ups and Holiday care can also be provided. I am based in Whitburn but I also offer a collection and drop off service if needed.
I try my very best to be competitive with cost and keep it as low as possible for family’s.
I am a fully qualified Nursery Nurse with over 18 years experience working with babies and young children. As well as raising my own 3 children.
Babies and children settle very quickly in the warm, loving, home from home setting I provide. They are supported and encouraged to be independent, confident individuals, learning new skills while developing their interests every day.

I have worked with children from the age of 21 in private nursery’s, special needs schools and within main stream settings along with raising my own children.
My Qualifications
Level 2 in Early years care and education
Level 2 Mental Health first aid
Level 3 Home based childcare and paediatric first aid.
Level 3 Support Teaching and Learning.
Level 2 food hygiene, safeguarding children, Radicalisation, female genital mutilation, awareness of forced marriages and covid-19 training.

I've used Emma for my children for nearly 3 year couldn't recomend her enough! Children always enjoy seeing Emma and she does a great job! Wouldn't have anyone else :)

Emma has been childminding my two children (2 and 3) 4 days per week for a while now. My son is particularly fussy with who he spends time with and usually refuses to speak if he is not with family - he is so happy with Emma and talks loads.
They are learning a lot with Emma but whilst being in a more homely environment than a nursery. All I can say is thank you.
