Mothers Help

I’m looking for someone to help with pick up (around 4.30pm) and some after school care, helping with the kids tea and maybe bathtime. Both kids are very easy with no allergies.

Flexible on days. Driving license would be needed as the kids’ school is local but not walking distance.

Great babysitter

Charis looked after my 7 and 2 year olds and was absolutely brilliant. Great with the kids and totally reliable, would use her again in a heartbeat!

Great the first time, second time didn’t show up

Shauna helped with a last minute request after my sitter cancelled. She was a bit late but ultimately did a good job and the kids liked her. I asked her back again, but this time, despite saying she was ok to take on the job, and confirming times that day, she said she was running late, but then and ignored my messages/calls asking where she was or for an ETA. We waited for her for hours with no word, she finally messaged three hours later to be told that she was busy with family stuff and walking her dog, and basically acted like not turning up was ok.

I get things come up but to not call or reply to messages and calls really messed us around, so sadly I can’t vouch for her reliability.

Unreliable

Booked Ella weeks in advance, she said she was free and shared her number and confirmed.

Checked in with her 48 hours before. She ignored all my read messages and didn’t respond. Quite frankly she could have had the decency/maturity to either admit she was busy or cancel.

Avoid.
