About Me
I am a mum of three, I have 16 years of experience within my childcare career. My children are 22,18 and 12. I have gained a lot of valuable experience along the way . I enjoy looking after my children, so decided to have a career in childcare. I have enjoyed working with families and children from a
range of different ethnic backgrounds and different walks of life. I work from the Oakwood roundhay area of Leeds, and also local surrounding area too. I live close to roundhay park and have a local library, play group and leisure centre all within walking distance. I enjoy going out with the children ensuring we can all get lots of fresh air.
My Experience
I have gained many years of experience through various jobs in my childcare career. I have been a mum for 22 years. I have been ofsted registerd for 16 years, in-between I have worked as a teaching assistant and a playworker at an after school club. I regularly updated my qualifications and keep up to date with new legislation within the childcare sector.
My Qualifications
I have been ofsted registerd "good" since 2007. I have completed all the relevant courses needed for ofsted and the council. Child protection, CRB checks, childcare level 3 diploma in home based childcare, Early years training courses , Leeds quality childminding network, food hygiene, pediatric first aid, valid liability insurance. I have also a level 4 in childcare and psychology higher diploma. I have worked as a teaching assistant, a play worker and most recently completed my teaching and learning degree at Leeds university. I also continually participate in various council courses in child development.
My Availability
I am flexible on hours so I can work with parents on various shift patterns. I work from 8am-6pm Monday-Friday. However I can occasionally do weekends and evenings too, I can also offer earlier starts if needed. I offer pick-ups from Roundhay St. John's Church of England primary school, Roundhay campus primary school and Grange farm primary school. I also offer a pay as you go service for short term childcare, and one off days when possible. I also take children in school holidays.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.99 per hour
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
£65 per day, half day £35 8-1 and afternoon session 1-6 pm week days. Out of hours £10 per hour.

Gina has looked after my Son for around 2/3 Years and going on to looking after my Daughter. My Son has been taught so many Values here which he has continued to use throughout Home & School. Has maintained fairness with my Son during difficult Times and has given a lot of Support to us all. Always kept in Contact through Holidays, Breaks and let’s me know how my Son is doing throughout the Day which is always nice and reassuring when he’s with her. She’s quite Flexible in what she does and always goes the Extra Mile to be helpful. My Son absolutely adores Gina and the Family also! It’s like Additional Family now. Always feel Comfortable to Approach and Ask any Questions I may have.. definitely would Recommend Gina!
