About Me
My name is Alison I am 50 years old full time mummy /nanny with a cheeky7.5 y s old son . I was always keen to spend time with and do work that fits around him ( or with him)..So we have been doing private Nannying for the past 6.5 yrs .However I have many years experience in childcare and can provide excellent references.
For the past 6 years I have offered a range of childcare..
I have Worked with past family for nearly 2 years and yr before 3 yrs . So Thomas has built a great relationship..with the 3 kids..especially in of lockdown where we cared mainly for the 3.5 yr old, whilst parents homeschooling older.
Prior to this I have been doing pre and after school childcare.. and before this I have been a nanny to a 2 Yr old spending 4 days a week with him and my son, (who was 1) and developed a playmate, (a weekday brother) and a young one to socially interact..
When my little one was a baby I was doing a school run for a lovely family in Southfields for a year!! A girl of 6 and boy of 5 .we did early morning drop off and afterpick ups and first point of contact with teachers and any information for parents.I took my son with me and there was alot of sharing, educational kids chats and laughing on the journey... these children became great friends to my son and we all developed together.
I have done alot of Adhoc / holiday private nannying work and looked after 5 -year-old twin girls , a 2 and 1/2-year-old and a 19 month old..plus adhoc childcare before securing a full time role..
I have great references from these mums, and cared for the children like my own.
My son is currently in year 3 .so he can have breakfast club and after school clubs some days so can be flexible but I am looking for a role where we can do his local pickups occasionally..and bring him as part of the family in holiday days to work, yet have fun together.. he is very friendly and flexible and would love any age child .
I am Ofsted registered, DBS checked , common core and safeguarding skills have paediatric first aid..
I am energetic,responsible, hardworking, friendly, calm under pressure, and trustworthy. I am non-smoker and have a full clean drivers license since 1991!! .I have a car of my own in the UK. I am able to cook healthy meals, assist with light housework, organise playdates and interesting activities for the children, including days out in the car to child friendly places.
I am an fun and kind person who loves children’s laughter, loves being out and about in woods and open spaces and genuinely loves spending time with children.

My Experience
In have been looking after a whole variety of ages .. with my son too ..who is now super sociable and a perfect companion.. when looking after same age children as him we used to spend the week going to mother/ toddler group and activities, then home for a home cooked lunch, nap and then afternoon free play and alphabet, colour or educational play.. if we look after school age children’ we do out own thing together .. then When my son was little we just did a school run for a year as described above
Would prefer a younger child to care for and help develop their skills so as not to have to keep changing role.. if hrs change due to full time nursery..
in my past i have always been both with children and childcare .
I am dbs checked, have my paediatric first aid and up to date knowledge due to being a hands on mummy;)

OFSTED REGISTERED, Dbs and paediatric first aid plus quality Nanny positions with happy parents and children
My Availability
Mon- thurs 8-6 however can be flexible.. would not accept just after school as isn’t ideal /nor beneficial for my family lifestyle..but happily to do longer hours/full days that make it worth while..

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (net)
My fees will depend on whether there are 1/2 or more children or if i have my son with me( which usually a bonus ..he is a good play and learning mate!). However he is full time school now so only holidays and some afternoons if possible;)
