About Me
My name is GILAH and I am a registered Childminder with the Care Commission for Scotland (Aberdeen City). I have my Disclosure Scotland certificate, public liability insurance and liability Business use car insurance.
We have two children, HOLLY age 12 S1 & Aaron age 15 who is S4 Hazlehead
My childminding service is available Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 5.00pm I cater for children aged from 3 months to 12 years
I can do school drop offs and collections to Airyhall School and nursery and we are a two min walk away. I am also a 2 min walk to our local community centre, library for story book sessions, and the local park.
My aim is to provide a safe, happy, learning environment through planned activities.
I aim to develop the children’s physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social capabilities through a wide range of activities with the freedom of choice.
I will help develop confidence and self-esteem for every child.
I will provide opportunities for play which will stimulate individual needs.
I will provide a stimulating environment to promote, well-being and good communication skills between children.
I aim to ensure each child needs are catered for and our met where possible.
I have a wide variety of toys, games, puzzles,a large garden with a treehouse ,trampoline, sandpits, swings and slides..
I intend to embark on painting, baking, junk modelling, etc. and generally hope that the children have a good time in whilst in my care in a safe, warm stimulating and caring environment.
My Experience
I have worked as a childminder for 8 years and previously three years as a playgroup leader and run a Toots group at Airyhall Community centre in Aberdeen for children ages 18 months to 4 years.I take full advantage of training offered by SCMA to keep myself up to date with changes taking place, and plan to undertake training whenever possible.

i have availability for drop offs in the morning and spaces for Thursday and Friday drop off and collect from school . I also drop off and collect at Nursery. Please contact . The main space I have now is for Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday 9-3 pm or 8-5pm from August 24
