My Experience

I've been a private tutor for a family of two amazing children for nearly 2 years and have just taken on another family of two children. It's been a wonderful experience watching them grow and develop their self-confidence. I prefer face to face tuition as I feel it's easier to build a relationship which is important with children. I provide all resources; finding ways to engage learners.

I began babysitting at the age of fourteen and was recommended to other families by word of mouth. I have worked in a special needs school, meeting the individual needs of the children and young adults as they moved through the school. I enjoyed this role so much that I became a special needs child carer for over tens years. I had to give that up to focus on my career as a primary teacher. I had been teaching for over eight years, I love teaching; inspiring young minds is a passion of mine. Currently, I'm working with children with social and emotional needs.

My Qualifications

I have a Bachelor of Education Degree.
Working in primary schools, I received a lot of training in many areas which are refreshed yearly or when necessary. Here are a few-

My Availability

I am available evening and weekends. This can vary during the school holidays however, I am flexible and may be available last minute. I am happy to mix tutoring with babysitting.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £30.00 per hour

Negotiable depending on travelling distance.
Overnight fees to be discussed due to the needs of the child(ren) - medical requirements, personal care etc.
