My Experience

I have around 10 years of on and off nannying and childcare experience, working with children from newborns through to young teenagers. Most of my experience is with toddlers and younger children, including twins, siblings and sole-charge care.

Alongside regular nannying, I have experience with babysitting, night nannying, tutoring, school runs, cooking, overnight care, holiday support, light housekeeping and family PA support.

Families often value my thoughtful approach, flexibility and the genuine care I bring to each role.

Private Nanny - Dorset (2026)
Part time nanny (2/3 days a week) for a 22 month old while her mother was heavily pregnant and in postpartum with her second child. Solo care with the parents at home working, and on maturity leave. With light housekeeping duties included.

Private Nanny – North Devon (2020)
I was a full-time nanny for twin 2-year-old boys on their farm, living on-site in a cottage on weekends. We spent most of our time outdoors on the family farm, where they developed a love for construction, machinery, and animals. I encouraged hands-on learning, from feeding the animals to exploring nature and cooking from the orchard. My dog, Nala, grew up alongside them.

Live in Nanny and Ranch help – Canada (2016 & 2018)
I worked twice for the same family in Canada on their longhorn cattle ranch, first in 2016, caring for three boys (newborn, 2, and 4 years old), and again in summer 2018, when they were 2, 4, and 6. This role involved full-time care, school drop-offs, meal preparation, and creating engaging play-based learning activities.

Holiday relief nanny - London 2016
I looked after 3 siblings aged 6, 8, and 10 for two full-time weeks (7am to 7pm) excluding weekends, while the parents worked over the Easter holidays. Duties varied form helping with homework, day trips cooking and light housekeeping. Predominantly being an adult in the house with them while the parents were away.

Au Pair – Australia (2015)
I spent nine months as a Travel Au Pair for twin 3-year-old boys, escorting them around Australia and Europe. My role involved daily childcare, organising creative and outdoor activities, helping with travel planning and supporting their early development.

Babysitting & Family Care
Before my Au Pair roles, I regularly babysat for family friends and have firsthand experience helping to raise my younger sister, who is 10 years younger than me.

I am confident in caring for multiple children at once, including infants, and have experience with varied age ranges. I am a competent cook, happy to assist with school runs and hold a full, clean UK driving licence with a safe driving record.

My Availability

I am currently looking for a regular nanny position for 2–3 days per week.

I’m fairly flexible on days and hours for the right family, and I’m also happy to help with occasional additional evenings or extra cover when needed.

Based near Crewkerne and willing to travel up to around an hour for the right position.

I do have some fixed teaching dates in my diary with my willow weaving business, but can give these in advanced.

My Fees

• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)

My rates start from £18 per hour and vary depending on the number of children, location, hours and responsibilities involved.

As a self-employed nanny, I offer flexible and personalised childcare tailored to each family’s needs. This can include regular nannying, babysitting, overnight care, travel support, tutoring, light housekeeping, cooking and family PA support.

Evening, weekend, ad hoc and overnight care may be priced separately depending on the arrangement.

I am based near Crewkerne and happy to travel up to around 45 minutes for the right family. Additional travel costs may apply for longer distances.

I’m always happy to discuss individual family needs to find the right arrangement and level of support.
