My Requirements

We are seeking a fun-loving live out nanny to look after our 3 children after school.

The older two will be attending local schools and the youngest one will be at a local pre-school.

We are therefore predominantly looking for an after school nanny (4-5 afternoons a week), but can offer some flexibility on the role and hours.

Core daily duties would include:-
- after school pick up and driving them back home.
- supervision of homework, school reading, music practice and preparation for school events and projects
- preparing healthy nutritious suppers
- caring for the physical and emotional needs of the children with regular reporting to the parents
- pro-active help with the washing, dishwasher and tidying around the home
- organising the childrens clothes, uniforms and laundry
- tidying and organising the children toys and bedrooms
- creating a calm and nurturing environment at home after school
- attending any urgent healthcare appointments, as needs arise. (The children have no significant health issues)

Additional flexibility during school holidays would be very welcome but not essential.

We would like someone who:
- is a great communicator
- can see themselves being with us for an extended period
- has some previous experience relevant to the role
- takes initiative, is self motivated, and will thrive creating a calm and nurturing environment for our children
- has a level of spoken and written English for effective communication and to support with school homework
- non smoker

We would like to find someone who is supportive of our Christian faith and model these values in our home.

To be considered for the role you must have the following:-
- Contactable references
- Evidence of longevity in previous roles
- Currently have the right to work in the UK
- Drivers licence

Core hours are 3pm to 6pm, but longer hours will be considered.

At present, additional babysitting, domestic cleaning housekeeping is not within the duties, but the role and hours could be extended to allow for these optional additional duties as a nanny-housekeeper.
