About Me
I am registered as a Childminder through an Ofsted Registered agency. I am working in Ivybridge. I am a very friendly, warm, caring, loving and energetic person and enjoy being outside and keeping fit.
I enjoy baking and doing arts and crafts with the children I look after. I enjoy being with children especially the younger ones, and seeing them learn new things and develop into happy little people.
I'm an Auntie to several nieces and nephews. So I love being around babies and children.
My Experience
I have been a Nanny since 1997 and have worked with all ages during that time. I have also worked in various locations. I also trained as a Maternity Nurse (going into the home when a mum has a new baby, to help with routines, feeding etc) and have also worked in a Nursery. I have a lot of experience working with twins.
I have several years experience working with twins both during my Maternity nursing and through my Nannying. All of my Nannying jobs have been with two or more children.
Whilst being a nanny I have helped children learn the alphabet, numbers, colours, how to write their names and letters etc.
Potty/toilet training.
Weaning.
Sleep Training course.
I have recently completed my training to become an Ofsted registered childminder with a childminding agency. The training Included the EYFS, Safeguarding and Welfare, Food Hygiene, FGM, and Duty to Prevent.
My Qualifications
BTEC NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN CHILDHOOD STUDIES.
MNT Maternity Nursing practitioner course.
MANTA Sleep Training course.

My Availability
Are you looking for a childminder in Ivybridge? Do you want a caring and fun environment for your little one to play in. If so I have spaces, please get in touch.
I have 25 years experience working with children, especially the Early Years age group.
I will be open all year round accept some of the bank holidays. Before and after school care. Local school drop off/pick up.
Monday to Friday 07.30am to 5.30pm.
If needed too I could start slightly earlier (if you do shifts) this would be at slightly higher rate until normal work time.
I would also be open to doing the odd Saturday if needed.
Also available for babysitting.
