About Me
Hi, I'm Lauren and I am based on North Bransholme, offering full time care, as well as care in the school holidays. I live with my twelve year old daughter Layla, seven year old daughter Erin, Husband Mike and two very cute guinea pigs.
I provide many activities at my house including wooden and natural resources, craft activities, board games, cars, building bricks, books, pretend play and educational resources. I also love to get out and about with the children and take up as many outings as possible in the local community. These include soft play, museums, parks, farms, work shops, local events and play groups.
My home provides a warm, friendly and caring family style environment where the children feel happy and confident to learn and develop. I offer a relaxed environment taking the children's lead and following their interests. Although I have small numbers of children in my care, we socialise regularly with a small group of other local childminders, allowing the children to develop wider friendships groups and build relationships with other trusted adults.
The children I care for are so friendly and welcoming, they love adding new friends to the mix, and have excellent relationships with both my family and I as well as with each other.
My Experience
I have been registered since November 2014 although prior to this I worked as an assistant to my mother in law, also a registered childminder who lives locally. I regularly take up places on local training courses to develop my knowledge and make sure I am providing the best possible care and education to the children in my care.
I attend Broadacre to collect my own daughter as well as a small number of children I collect after school. I am unable to offer drop offs/pick ups from any other schools.

I attend training regularly and have up to date qualifications in the following, to name a few:
Safeguarding
Designated Safeguarding Lead
Paediatric First Aid
Environmental Health
Special Educational Needs
Maths in the EYFS
My Availability
I am available between 7.30am and 4.30pm Monday-Thursday.
I am unable to offer care outside of these hours.
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
My fees are currently £5.50 per hour, which includes all drinks and snacks. I do not provide meals/nappies/wipes.
I offer a minimum of two full days per week (7.30-4.30) with minimum hours of 7.5 hours per day.
