About Me
Full-time working mum of a 13 year old girl and 4 year old boy.
Looking for a OFSTED registered nanny or babysitter to look after my 4 year old son outside of school hours. My 13 year old daughter is mostly independent but she needs to be fed a healthy dinner when she returns home from school, make sure she’s done her homework and any chores, room tidy etc.
I know it is entirely voluntary for Nannies to be Ofsted registered, therefore, for the right person I am happy to cover the expenses of registration as it will only benefit me.
I would welcome nanny share if you can do some but not all hours. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.
My Requirements
Ideally we are looking for a nanny that will work with our family long term, but babysitters are also welcome in the meantime.
Hours will be varying but it will be around 20 hours per week, mostly afterschool hours from 3pm and weekends (only one weekend day per week).
For nannying - duties will require establishing a good routine, taking care of emotional wellbeing through educated play and activities, reading stories and practicing phonics.
A good understanding of emotional regulation.
Practising tidying up and hygiene habits, ensuring kids don’t leave mess behind. Cooking healthy meals and safely involving the kids in the process if possible.
Exploring outdoors if weather permits and attend any clubs if there will be any.
Doing bathtime and bedtime routines.
