I’m looking for a babysitter to support my 4-year-old son, Ethan, during school holidays.
Ethan has Autism Spectrum Disorder, global developmental delay, and sensory needs. He is non-verbal and requires close supervision at all times to keep him safe. He can become overwhelmed quickly and may display challenging behaviours, including self-injury and hitting out, so experience with SEND (especially autism) is essential.
He uses a specialist buggy when out in the community and benefits from a calm, structured approach with clear routines. He also needs support with communication, understanding choices, and transitions.
I am looking for someone patient, understanding, and confident supporting children with additional needs. Ideally, someone with experience in SEND, care work, or early years.
Support would mainly be needed during school holidays, and potentially some evenings.
