I have been a nanny for the last 18 years and thoroughly enjoy my job. The first job was for 2 doctors who have 3 children (6,4 and 1 years old) when I started and I was with them for 8 years. My second job was 2 year old twins and was there for just under 2 years and prepared them for school. My third role was 1 year old twins and 3 year old brother and was in this position for 2 years. My current role is a 6 year old & 3 year old and I have been with them nearly 5 years and worked throughout mums maternity so lots of newborn experience. Previously i was deputy manager of a day nursery, ran the baby room and special educational needs co-ordinator. I have experience with newborns up to teenagers. My duties included preparing bottles/ meals, organising rotas/diaries, washing/ironing and helping with homework/music practice.
