My Experience
I have been a nanny for the last 18 years and thoroughly enjoy my job. The first job was for 2 doctors who have 3 children (6,4 and 1 years old) when I started and I was with them for 8 years. My second job was 2 year old twins and was there for just under 2 years and prepared them for school. My third role was 1 year old twins and 3 year old brother and was in this position for 2 years. My current role is a 6 year old & 3 year old and I have been with them nearly 5 years and worked throughout mums maternity so lots of newborn experience. Previously i was deputy manager of a day nursery, ran the baby room and special educational needs co-ordinator. I have experience with newborns up to teenagers. My duties included preparing bottles/ meals, organising rotas/diaries, washing/ironing and helping with homework/music practice.

Laura has been part of our family for 5 wonderful years, caring for our children from when they were 6 and 3. From day one she has provided outstanding, loving and completely reliable care.
She is the perfect balance of professional, warm and fun. She has built such a beautiful, trusting relationship with both children - they absolutely adore her and light up when she arrives. She genuinely understands them as individuals, knows what makes them tick, and has supported them so thoughtfully through every stage, milestone and wobble.
She is incredibly organised, proactive, and uses her initiative without ever needing to be asked. Whether it's creative play, homework support, cooking healthy meals, or getting them out on adventures, everything is done with so much care and attention. Our house has always felt calm and safe in her hands.
Laura is kind, loyal, trustworthy and has become a truly valued friend to us all. Any family would benefit enormously from having her in their lives. We feel so lucky to have had her.
