My Experience
On my last inspection I recieved a good ,I have been a childminder now for 32yrs and previously worked at a school as a speech and language teacher . I work using the EYFS to ensure that the children in my care reach their goals and full potential. I ensure that my certificates and training are up to date and am keen to extend my knowledge with further training.
My Qualifications
My inspection was graded good
Level 4 qualification in Early Years
NVQ level 3 in child care
Speech and language cert

I have a early years space Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday from September 2026. Term time only

My son has been with Angie since he was just one year old, and for the past three years she has been an incredibly important part of his life. From the very beginning, she welcomed us with open arms and has always treated us like family.
Angie provides such a warm, safe, and nurturing environment, and I have always felt completely confident leaving my son in her care. It is clear how much she genuinely cares for every child, and her kindness, patience, and dedication shine through in everything she does.
She plans a wonderful variety of fun, creative, and educational activities that have played a huge role in my son's learning and development. Thanks to Angie's care and guidance, my son has built a fantastic foundation for his education. I truly believe he couldn't have had a better start in life, and I know the skills, confidence, and love of learning she has given him will stay with him for years to come.
Angie has also helped him build confidence, make wonderful friendships, and reach important milestones. He always comes home happy, full of stories about his day, and proud to show us the beautiful crafts and activities he has taken part in.
Her communication has always been excellent, keeping us updated with photos and messages, which has given us real peace of mind throughout the years.
We are so grateful for the love, care, and support Angie has shown our family. She has truly become part of our family, and we couldn't have asked for a better childminder. I would highly recommend recommend Angie to anyone looking for someone who will care for their child as if they were her own. We will always be thankful for everything she has done for our son and for giving him the very best possible start in life.

Angie has been incredible with our son who has attended 3 days a week since he was aged 1. He never hesitates to go running in and always has a great day. Her home is always so inviting and comfortable.
I have always felt relaxed and confident leaving him, knowing he was in safe hands. Her genuine warmth and interest made me feel like I was leaving him with a family member.
Angie has always engaged him in fun activities to assist his development including different themes throughout the weeks/ seasons. He is always bringing home a new arty creation. She is thoughtful and kind always prepares special pieces of work with him and little gifts for special ocassions.
He has loved attending soft play every week and bonding with the other children who attend Angie's setting.
We have been thankful for Angie's reassuring words and guidance through any challenging ups and downs and milestones such as potty training. She has always communicated brilliantly and sent loads of photos. I really loved the use of a handover book the first year to get a great snapshot of his day.
She has made our first experience with a childminder so easy and relaxed and we are sorry to have to leave. We will miss her a lot.

My daughter has been going to Angie part time for the past 7/8 months since she was about 6 months old. From the first time I left her I felt completely comfortable leaving her with Angie. Angie has kept me informed of everything and supplies me with a day dairy so I can see what she has been up to and it even includes a daily picture. My daughter gets so excited every time we arrive at Angies and is completely settled and happy there. Angie is a lovely lady who has always got the childrens best interests at heart and always has time for the parents as well. If you are looking for someone to look after your child(ren) then I can highly recommend her.
