About Me
Welcome to The Ark Childcare, based in Sutton-Cum-Lound near Retford. I am an Ofsted registered childminding service caring for children from 0-5 years old.
My aim is to provide affordable, professional childcare in a safe, caring, home from home environment.
I am Ofsted registered, fully insured and up to date with all relevant qualifications and was graded good by Ofsted in October 2018.
I have a lovely play/learning area, which is well equipped for children of all ages. Children take part in arts and crafts, pretend play, baking and other learning activities including sensory play.
Children have direct access to the garden and enjoy regular outdoor play. There is lots of play equipment including climbing, sand, water, mud kitchen, planting and much, much more.

My Experience
I have experience working in a day nursery and in schools. I have level 3 childcare and am also a qualified teaching assistant, experienced in working with children of all ages.

Our daughter has been going to Buttersett house for nearly 4 weeks and I could not wish for a better setting for her. Laura and Paul are so welcoming into their home and the variety of activities they do with the children is brilliant. She doesn't stop talking when I pick her up about the things she's done during the day and the yummy food she's eaten! Going back to work after many months of being a stay at home mum can be daunting, but knowing your child is safe, cared for, happy and having fun makes it so much easier.
