My Summary

My Experience

I started my career in a private nursery working with children aged 12months-3years. It was a home from home type environment and the children flourished. Everyday was always something different!

I moved on to a newly opened Childrens Centre and was there for over 8 years until it closed its doors due to funding. This is where i grew as a Nursery Nurse and my knowledge of early years developed immensely. I was responsible for large key groups, observing for their learning journeys and assessing their individual needs according to the EYFS. Alongside this I had the opportunity to support children from various backgrounds and needs.

After the Children’s Centre closed its doors I moved onto a school where I worked in Reception, this was super helpful and practical to me as it gave me great insight to see what takes place in a reception, the day to day running of the class and I gained experience on delivering phonics, guided reading, delivering lessons when needed and this supported my role in tutoring/home schooling during Covid.

I've worked with lots of children and parents from different backgrounds & individual needs. I formed great bonds with each parent and child in my care.

I decided the time was right to move onto nannying and broaden my skills further. Ive worked with such lovely families! I am currently nannying my long term family alongside bringing my own son with me. It’s so lovely to watch them all grow up together.

My Qualifications

I have a Level 3 Diploma in child care and education and have recently updated my safeguarding training. I am also first aid trained.

My Availability

I am available on Fridays for a full day and also Wednesday between 8-2/2.30.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)

My Fees are below in Babysitter/Nanny rate.
If only needing before & afterschool hours rate will differ.
