MILLBROOK INFANT AND JUNIOR SCHOOL RUN SPACES AVAILABLE
Hi, we are Lisa and Graeme Mills, a husband and wife team and we are an Ofsted Registered Childminding setting, Lisa Mills Childcare.
Lisa, is a qualified Early Years practioner and has been a childcare provider since June 95. Graeme is an Early Years Teacher. We have 2 children, Oliver 18yrs and Melanie 14yrs old and we live on the Ise Lodge in Kettering.
We offer a home from home (pet free) setting, with 2 rooms we use for childminding. They are connected by sliding doors to allow free flow between the room's allowing space for playing and learning as well as an area for board games, crafts and quiet time. These great spaces allow different ages of children the space to play.
We use one room for messy play, crafts and meals. The older children also use this space for crafts, games playing with toys less suitable for little ones and quiet time for reading. We also have a separate dinning room which we also use for the older children. Our main play room has access to our outdoor play area.
We have a good size garden that flows from the main play room. The garden is all artificial turfed enabling play all year round and is a great space for children to play. We have a variety of outdoor toys including; swings, slides, a sand pit, ride on toys, toddler trampoline, outdoor kitchen, bats, balls and outdoor games. In our pIay room, We have an extensive range of toys both large and small, games, puzzles and books for all ages. During term time we take our little one's to local toddler group's, park's, woods, play areas, library and meet with other childminders. When at home, we have both free play and adult lead play, which includes; crafts, messy play, sharing stories, song time, music, movement and dance. In school holiday's, we have mornings and days out at country parks, play ground's and library visits. Then at home in the school holidays we have; free play, board games, craft activities, party games and outdoor play.
My Experience
Lisa.
I have been working in childcare since June 1995. My first job was as a full time nanny to twins. I also worked in a nursery, as a full time nursery nurse where I became deputy of the nurse. Then in 2004 I started childminding when my son Oliver was a few months old.
Graeme.
I am a qualified Early Years Teacher.I have experience working with children with SEND, working in mainstream Nurseries and as a Primary School Teacher

We accept gov.uk tax free childcare payments, childcare vouchers and are registered to provide 2 and 3 year funding.

Lisa has been caring for our children since they were babies. They are now 7 & 6 & still love going to Lisa's! I know I don't have to worry about them whilst I'm at work as I know they are safe & having a great time. Lisa provides them with a fantastic range of activities from crafting, playing games, role play & puppet shows. They are learning every step of the way!
She takes the children out & about to local parks & events which they love. My children have made some lovely friends & they really look up to Lisa's own children. Lisa always has a friendly, professional manner & is always on hand to help out whenever possible whether it be additional help or just to listen & offer advice. I honestly don't know where we would be without her & I would highly reccomend Lisa to any parent looking for childcare.

Thank you Emma for your lovely review. I have enjoyed being part of your children's early years and still enjoy caring for them. It is great being part of helping them to grow and develop.
Lisa had cared for our son for 11 and half years. She has allowed him to grow and become an independent confident young man. She encouraged him to share with others whilst allowing him to play and learn at his own space. She was always organised with fun activities inside and out. Our child was always happy to go to Lisa’s. She was always sharing the day’s activities with us, this enables us to feel involved. She will cater for all your childcare needs, highly recommend.

our little girl has been going to Lisa's for a few weeks now. She has settled in really well and we couldn't be prouder of the little lady she is growing into. Everyone that knows Lily has commented on the difference and how much she's grown and her skills have developed over a short period of time.Taking Lily to Lisa's has been the best decision we have made for our little girl.

Thank you Emma. Lily has settled so well , it feels like she's always been here.
Lisa is amazing! - I have 4 children and she has cared for them all. I love knowing that I can completely trust Lisa with my children and the kids love going with her too. Lisa is great in that she treats your child as if they are her own and not only cares for them but also teaches them along the way. I also booked Lisa to care for my children at my wedding and everyone commented on how outstanding she was and it was fantastic knowing they were completely safe all day and night. Lisa is also very flexible in the care timetable she offers which is fantastic to meet your needs. I am so grateful Lisa has had an input in raising my children - Big thank you for everything you do Lisa xx
