Profile
I have a wealth of experience made up of some 20 years working with children from newborn to teenagers, in addition to raising my own son. I started working as a nanny at age sixteen and very soon knew this was my vocation to work with children, I worked for the next five years for three lovely families.
I then moved to the Channel Islands and become a qualified teaching assistant at a private school for girls, in addition to this I also ran an early morning breakfast club and was soon given responsibility to supervise many other activities. During my last two years in Guernsey, I supported children after school that needed additional help.
I returned to the UK and worked for Maidstone Borough Council, as an appointed part time special needs escort. I had sole charge of groups of four children with minor to severe mental and physical disabilities.
I returned to the UK for my sons’ private education and continued working as a Nanny in london and
Spain.
I enjoyed my time and experience of working away but returned to London/Kent as I want to settle back in the UK in my family home.
I have cared for many wonderful children over the last 20 plus years and have found that the children get the most from my time when I am able to keep them busy with clubs, outside play and arts and crafts.
I love crafts and messy play, so I have many creative ideas. I am happy to attend group activity sessions such as music classes, swimming lessons, library sessions and time being creative such as arts and crafts, painting, baking and fun activities.
Through my experience, I understand the trials and tribulations of a modern family and understand how hard it can be juggling work and childcare and the worry parents have in securing a reliable trusting nanny, as a professional nanny I pride myself in providing a professional service to ensure safety happiness and development of the children in my care and peace of mind for the parents.
