I'm a 20 year old female from South Belfast. I have a few qualifications under my belt that include Paediatric First Aid and Child Protection.
I am studying for a Bachelors in Early Childhood at the Open University which I hope will help me progress to be able to become a nursery school teacher (september 2017)
Hope to hear from you!!
I think what makes me a good babysitter is that I've had experience with each of my siblings and cousins.
I have done work experience in a primary one class and a placement in a nursery classroom on a few separate occasions.
I worked at a local Belfast adventure centre, We Are Vertigo, which in itself gave me an extra hands on experience with children with all the fun included.
I have worked full time at a day nursery in the afterschools club.
I currently work in a different after schools unit with a large childcare provider in Belfast.
In April ‘19, I began my second job as a special needs classroom assistant in a primary school.
I have First Aid training and Child Protection/Safeguarding training, which are both up to date.
GCSE's - 8 GCSEs
NVQ Level 2 Child care learning and development
Qualification in Playwork
Child Protection training - up to date
First Aid training - up to date
I’m working in an after schools unit in a school during the week so I can only babysit evenings during the week from 6.30pm, but all day at the weekends
