Following significant investment and a full refurbishment in 2016, the nursery provides modern facilities and a stimulating and nurturing Early Years environment for children between the ages of three months and five years.
The nursery provides a happy and safe environment where children are free to explore and learn through a range of experiences and activities.
Children are at the heart of the nursery, and activities are created based on their interests, thoughts and ideas.
Rooms are full of natural play resources to help your child's imagination thrive, giving them endless learning opportunities in a calming and happy setting.
Children can enjoy outdoor learning and play every day in a fantastic outdoor play and activity area. Free-flow play is encouraged.
Co-located on the site of Liskeard Hillfort Primary School, Minibugs work with primary neighbours to support an easy and happy transition when it’s time for your child to start school.
Team members are experienced and all hold advanced paediatric first aid certificates. They attend regular training courses so parents can rest assured that their children are receiving the best, most up-to-date practices and highest quality of care at Minibugs.

My little boy has been at Minibugs since 2019, he’s due to graduate this year! He has had the best experience from the start with such a kind, fun and friendly team. He’s developed and grown so much in the setting, surrounded by lots of little friends and guided by the team who he adores. If we’ve ever had any challenges they’ve been so quick and professional in dealing with them. I’d 100% recommend this nursery and look forward to my little girl starting soon!

My son absolutely loves his time at minibugs nursery. The outside space provided for the children is brilliant and they are given a wide range of activities to engage in. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. My son’s communication and social skills have come on so much since attending the nursery and I would recommend to anyone

My little boy is 3.5 and has been at the nursery since he was 9 months old. This is a fantastic nursery were all members of staff are second to none. My son loves going in and thoroughly enjoys every day. I sometimes have a n issue getting him to leave. The parents are treated just as well as the children and the management are always there if you need to talk. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.
